Schools World Cup Marbella 2022
From 27 to 30 October 2022, the School Football World Cup will turn Marbella into the capital of children’s soccer. Teams from 30 schools in each of the 4 different age categories traveled to Marbella to compete to be the winner of the SFWC.

Where were the games played?
We have the sports complexes ‘Estadio Municipal de Atletismo de Estepona’ and the ‘Estadio Municipal de Fútbol Francisco Muñoz Pérez’, where Unión Estepona CF plays its home matches.
Not only soccer
While the championship was in progress, the BTC Foundation organized activities aimed at developing young people’s knowledge and training.
Among the most important activities were the reforestation of forests and the cleaning of beaches.
A competition for innovative ideas was also promoted to encourage the development of all these initiatives.
Raising awareness of the sustainable environment was our main objective in this first edition.

Where did we stayed?
The BlueBay Banús Hotel is located in the exclusive area of Puerto Banús, just a few meters from the beach and 7 km from the center of Marbella.
The hotel is spread over an area of more than 28,000 square meters of lush and spectacular subtropical gardens, pools and ponds that make the hotel an oasis in the heart of the Mediterranean.

We had 4 categories (U11, U13, U15, U17) male, mixed and female.
